Study of Ion-Assisted E-Beam Evaporation Coating Process on Chirped Mirrors

A chirped mirror designed with 60 fs2 in group delay dispersion and reflectance large than 97.5% the bandwidth between 700 900 nm by open-sourced thin film filter design software is presented. The mirrors are then fabricated an ion-assisted deposition coater. First, optical constants of films deposited specific process parameters calibrated trial runs single-layer samples measured variable-angle spectroscopic ellipsometer; factors entered to compensate for settings on thickness. Afterward, spectral phase coated polarization gating frequency-resolved whereas photo-spectrometer. In conclusion, results indicate a reasonable match goals show effectiveness proposed method. It noted that electron gun evaporation coating systems applicable mass production employed ultrafast lasers.
